You can visit most pages on our site without giving us any
information about yourself. But sometimes we do need information
to provide services that you request, and this privacy statement
explains data collection and use in those situations. Please
read the following policy to understand how your personal information
will be treated at this site.
Collection of your Personal Information
We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies
you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Generally,
this information is requested when you are downloading trial
versions, product updates and literature; or ordering e-mail
newsletters, signing up for an event or training, or when purchasing
and/or registering Xcitex products over the internet. Personal
information collected by Xcitex, Inc. often is limited to name,
e-mail address, oganization name, country or location, but may
include other information when needed to provide a service you
requested.
When you buy, rent and install a new product, we may ask you
to register your purchase electronically at our Product
Registration page. We keep this registration information
on file with any information you have already given us on previous
visits to our Web site.
Xcitex, Inc. also collects certain information about your computer
hardware and software. Some of our security and licensing systems
tie software to specific computer hardware. This information
may include specific information about the hardware that is installed
in your computer (e.g. hard drive size, video memory, processor
type, etc.), your IP address, browser type, operating system,
domain name, access times and referring Web site addresses. If
you select one of our licensing options that involves tying software
to a specific computer, the Xcitex license manager will tell
you that it is collecting information about your computer architecture
in order to generate a unique registration code.
Xcitex, Inc. also collects information about which pages our
customers visit within Xcitex, Inc. This site visitation data
is identified only by a unique ID number, and it is never linked
with personal information unless a user provides consent.
Use of your Personal Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:

To check for valid registrations of products, trial versions
or upgrades.

To facilitate sales and support through our regional independent
distributors.

or software, that you request or purchase.

the personal safety of Xcitex employees, users of Xcitex products

Control of your Personal Information
When you register, or otherwise give us personal information,
Xcitex Inc. will not share that information with third parties
without your permission, other than for the limited exceptions
already listed. It will only be used for the purposes stated
above.
Xcitex, Inc. may send out periodic e-mails informing you of technical
service or security issues related to a product or service you
requested, or confirming you requested a product or service.
Although we consider these mailings an essential part of the
service you have chosen, you will be able to unsubscribe to these
mailings at any time and cancel the service.
Protection of Children's Personal Information
Xcitex, Inc. is a general audience site and does not knowingly
collect any personal information from children.
