Version 1.7.1.0 of ProAnalyst released.
ProAnalyst Version 1.7.10 was released March 15, 2022 to all users of ProAnalyst worldwide. This was the first major release since the beginning of pandemic restrictions, so it included many bug fixes, feature improvements, and compatibility corrections for the newest versions of Windows. Improvements were made to the particle tracking toolkit (new calculations), video handlers (newest cine format drivers for Phantom cameras), 3-D calibration computation, online documentation, and more. All users are encouraged to update their software (for free) on all machines by using the “Check for Updates” feature.

For the ninth year, Xcitex will attend the Society for Integrative & Comparative Biology (SICB) Annual Meeting, January 3-7, 2016, in Portland, Oregon. This year we are showcasing the vertebrate feeding research of Dr. Callum Ross and his team at the University of Chicago. Dr. Ross is Chair of the SICB Division of Vertebrate Morphology. Read more

Xcitex will offer a ProAnalyst Fundamental Skills training course in the Fall of 2015 (date to be announced). Professional Development Training is designed for the beginner or occasional user of ProAnalyst motion analysis software. Students receive in-depth training in a classroom setting with hands-on exercises and live demonstrations taught by ProAnalyst engineers. Xcitex will be exhibiting at the Mechanical Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Workshop on May 6, 2014. This workshop, held at the Lockheed Martin Center for Leadership Excellence in Bethesda, MD, is designed for mechanical and manufacturing professionals. New Corporate Headquarters for Xcitex
Xcitex has relocated to Woburn, Massachusetts, 10 miles northwest of Boston. Our new headquarters is double the size of our previous facility, complete with a new state-of-the-art Motion Analysis Laboratory for recording high-speed video and performing 3-D analysis. Read more

Xcitex VP of Engineering Dr. Jesse Hong has been invited to speak to the Imaging Community of Practice at Procter & Gamble on November 5, 2013. Jesse will lecture to this elite group comprised of industrial engineers and academic researchers on the technologies involved in motion and video analysis. The presentation will take place at the Procter & Gamble Business Center in Mason, Ohio and will be simulcast to P & G engineering facilities throughout the world. Read more
