ProCapture Quick Start Guide


Step 1.

Unpack your shipment and familiarize yourself with the components.

Step 2.

Connect an external keyboard and mouse. Connect an external monitor to the Video Processing Unit (VPU) via the available HDMI port. If the monitor does not have a HDMI port, use an HDMI to DVI adapter. Power the monitor. Provide power to the VPU.

Step 3.

Connect each camera to the Video Processing Unit (VPU) using the camera link connector(s). Power the cameras by way of the circular power port. A green connection light on the back of the camera confirms the camera is powered.

Step 4 (Optional).

Connect the Data Collection Box to the VPU by way of the 68-pin D-Type to VHDCI-Type connector.

Step 5.

Connect the Trigger Assembly to the Switch Box by way of the BNC "Switch In" connector located on the lower side of the switch box. Connect the "TTL Out" connector to the "Trigger In" connector located on the VPU.

Step 6.

Power up your ProCapture Video Processing Unit (VPU).

Step 7.

Register your ProCapture software at Product registration provides automatic notification of free updates and new versions, technical bulletins, and free technical support over the phone or through email.
